Risk Minimisation

Prevention rather than reaction is the name of the game. The failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) pursues the basic concept of preventing failures by identifying and evaluating potential failure causes at an early stage rather than reactive failure detection and correction.

Based on the results of a detailed FMEA, influence can be exerted as early as the planning phase to achieve a more easily maintained product design and more cost-effective operating and maintenance strategy. We work on this together with our cooperation partners.

OW EVS assumes responsibility for the entire asset management of a wind farm on behalf of investors and owner-operators who do not wish to establish their own operating organisations. In its capacity as asset manager, OW EVS endeavours to convert all the acquired knowledge into a reliability-oriented maintenance strategy, which offers a means of reducing the costs considerably.
